KKPoker announced the launch of Coach Battle 2025, a promotion that allows players to win prize money while upping the ante with their game skills.

KKPoker's Coach Battle 2025 competition will feature poker personalities like Dara O'Kearney, Stoyan Obreshkov, and Karim Chelli as team leaders, offering players a chance to enhance their skills while vying for cash prizes.

Starting this February, poker players will have the chance to refine their gameplay, compete for lucrative rewards, and engage in exclusive coaching sessions led by these distinguished poker experts.

Dara O'Kearney

Event Format

The Coach Battle 2025 will comprise a series of tournaments where players can win cash prizes and unlock exclusive coaching sessions with their selected team leader.

To take part and qualify for coaching rewards, players must choose their team through the KKPoker app. Additionally, the overall winning team will be awarded a bonus of $1,000 GTD freeroll.

Event Timeline: January 27 – March 10 CET.

Qualifying Details:

$500 Qaulifiers: In each qualifier MTT, the highest-ranking eligible player from each team will progress to STEP 1. A total of three players (one from each team) will advance per qualifier MTT, culminating in 18 players across all qualifiers (six per team).

$200 Last Punch Free: The top two eligible players from each team will also advance to STEP 1. This means six players total (two from each team) will move forward.

TEAM STEP 1: The winner of each team's MTT will secure a spot in the $100 Shootout Finale and receive a personal coaching session.
$100 Shootout Finale: The overall champion will receive a bonus coaching session or access to a comprehensive poker strategy course. The victorious team overall will earn entry into a $1,000 Winners Freeroll.

Prize Breakdown

Qualifier MTTs: Participants will share in a $500 GTD prize pool plus receive a $20 STEP 1 Ticket and a complimentary group coaching session with their team.

Last Punch Free: Players will share in a $200 GTD prize pool along with a $20 STEP 1 Ticket and group coaching session.

TEAM STEP 1: Winners will share in the prize pool and receive a ticket for the finale along with a personal coaching session.
$100 Shootout Finale: The winner receives $100 along with either a bonus coaching session or access to a poker course.
$1,000 GTD Freeroll: Open to all members of the overall winning team.

Grinders must join a team via the KKPoker app before the first qualifier MTT on February 3 at 18:00 GMT to qualify for advancement and coaching sessions. Team selection begins on January 27 at 18:00 GMT.

Players who miss this initial deadline can still select a team until March 3 at 18:00 GMT but will not be eligible for advancement from the qualifier MTT or any coaching prizes.
