Romanian player Tudor Purice took down the WPT Prime Cyprus Championship. He defeated a field of 1,202 entries  to grab the top prize worth $183,270. The WPT Prime Cyprus Championship title was Purice's career-best score.

The final table had Purice enter as the second-highest stack behind Yurii Senchylo. Purice skillfully navigated the early stages of the crucial final table and then went after the chip lead. The Romanian’s victory also meant him getting a seat at the WPT Championship event scheduled for later this year in December.
Notable eliminations on the final table included names like Umit Sadi, who was busted by Emile Abi-Daher's flopped Jack, and Samuel Klocker, turned into a casualty at the hands of Aleks Denishev.

Despite the high-octane action on the final table, Senchylo kept his lead for a significant part. Purice's unstoppable quest for the chip lead paid off when he busted Ioan Abrudan in seventh place.

Denishev's elimination at the hands of Bagrov was followed by Purice's firing of Abi-Daher and Bagrov. Purice was sitting with a huge chip lead.
Purice kept his domination and showed Senchylo the exit door with just an Ace-high hand. The Heads-up session against Aleks Apryan was just a procedure to be followed as Purice sat with  97% of the chips.

Only one heads-up hand was played where Purice nailed the top spot with utmost ease. Congratulations to the winner.
