WPT Global Welcomes Xue Hong-Wei As New Ambassador
WPT Global announced the news of onboarding former Esports player Xue Hong-Wei as its brand ambassador. Hong-Wei is a retired League of Legends player from Taiwan.
By joining forces with WPT Global, the Taiwan national will join the list of WPT ambassadors like Phil Ivey, Ethan Yau, Patrick Tardif, Brad Owen, Jon Van Fleet, Angel Guillen, Pete Chen, and Xuan Liu.

Apart from WPT Global, there is a lot of action waiting to unfold thanks to WPT. The live poker brand recently announced its much awaited World Championship 2024 dates.
The year end will have some intense live poker action for players with WPT Global hosting satellite qualifiers on its platform.
The World Championship 2024 festival runs from December 14 to 21 with the Championship event running between December 16-21 at the Wynn Las Vegas. This $10,400 buy-in event will have a televised final table for poker fans across the globe.
For the first time in the poker brand’s history, ClubWPT Gold will offer a $5 Million GTD Invitational Freeroll. This free-to-enter tournament offers a first place prize of $1 Million.
WPT estimates that around 2,000 will be heading to Las Vegas for the $5 Million GTD freeroll. Eligible holders of Golden Passport will be able to participate in this Invitational Freeroll.
Apart from the World Championship and $5 Million GTD freeroll, WPT also announced its return to Cambodia with WPT Prime Cambodia in 2025.
The live poker brand will kick off the event on February 6 and will conclude on February 24 at the NagaWorld Resorts.
