WPT Global Ambassador Clashes With YoH ViraL
In a classic clash on the live felts, WPT Global ambassador Ethan Yau aka ‘Rampage’ locked horns with Johan Guilbert aka ‘YoH ViraL’. The hand saw Rampage holding Ace-King suited against Guilbert’s 8-7 suited.
The pot was close to $5,000 by the time the turn card (9h) had arrived. The river card brought 2h which gave Guilbert a flush. Rampage bet $3.3K which was raised to $17K by his rival.
After a few seconds, the WPT Global ambassador made the call only to crash land into Guilbert’s flush. Rampage lost a pot worth $38,850 and the disappointment was pretty visible on Yau’s face.
Yau was also a regular at Hustler Casino Live and had pulled off one of the biggest bluffs in 2023. Rampage went up against a player called Handz for a pot valued at $1.1 Million.
Yau had Ace-Seven suited while his opponent had Queens. The community cards fell as JQT25. Here, Rampage had nothing while Handz had flopped a set.
But the WPT Global ambassador made an insane move by betting $618K which put his rival on auto all-in. Handz bowed out despite holding the best hand. Yau on the other hand grabbed headlines with this mind-boggling bluff.

The player scooped over $130,000 in prize money for his runner-up finish in the WPT Championship during the WPT Global Summer Festival event.
