World Poker Tour WPT Korea
The World Poker Tour is returning to Jeju Shinhwa World in November for its latest WPT Korea event.

November's WPT Korea tournament series takes place as part of the Jeju Poker Festival.

WPT Korea is scheduled for November 15-December 1 and will be headlined by the $1,860 WPT Korea Championship, which takes place November 16-22 and has a $1.25million guaranteed prize pool.

This will be the third WPT Korea event in three years. The most recent tournament took place in late March and attracted more than 1,000 entrants.

"Jeju Island is a sensational location and has become a popular stop on the WPT schedule," said WPT CEO Adam Pliska.

"Thanks to our partners at Landing Casino and Red Dragon who have spearheaded the planning to bring WPT Korea back for a second time this season."

Jenny Lim, Chief Operating Officer at host venue Landing Casino, added: "Landing Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World is again honored and excited to partner with WPT in hosting the WPT Korea Championship this coming November.

"Poker tours in Korea are on a steady increase, and the events held at Jeju Shinhwa World with outstanding partners such as WPT add to the excitement and growth of poker in the region."

Two other championship events highlight the Jeju Poker Festival schedule, the Korea Poker Cup (November 21-26) and Red Dragon Poker Tour (November 26-December 1). Any player reaching the final table of two or more championship events will receive an extra prize, details of which will be announced in early November.
