Mario Mosbock took down Event #8: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju.

CoinPoker brand ambassador Mario Mosbock shipped his third Triton Poker Series title after beating Bryn Kenney.

Mosbock nailed Event #8: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju.

The event had 215 registered entries and generated a final prize pool of $10,750,000. This prize pool marked the first eight-figure prize pool of the series. Mosbock defeated four-time Triton champion Bryn Kenney in heads-up play, for a sum of $2,233,000.

Final Table Action

From the initial 215 entries, only 42 players advanced to Day 2. Once the players were in the money, eliminations occurred quickly as short stacks attempted to stay in contention.

The final table saw Dylan Linde as the chip leader, closely followed by Kenney and Mosbock. Other finalists included Mike Watson, Brandon Wilson, Steve O’Dwyer, Matas Cimbolas, and Juan Pardo.

Cimbolas was the first to exit after losing an all-in hand against Mosbock. Watson and Wilson followed shortly after.

Linde, who had largely avoided major showdowns, eventually fell in fifth place after his pocket jacks were outsmarted by Kenney’s ace-ten. Kenney continued to build momentum by knocking out O’Dwyer.

Mosbock’s Comeback in Heads-Up

When the game was three-handed, Kenney had the chip lead. However, Mosbock busted Pardo in third place, and narrowed down the gap.

Mosbock took control of the heads-up session, after a series of well-timed hands. Over three key showdowns, he seized the chip lead and finally secured the top title.
